Safe Driver Academy has earned a great reputation as the fun and engaging course that everyone is talking about. Safe Driver Academy was launched in 2014, when our highly-regarded instructor—then the General Manager of a high-end import auto dealership, was recognized for his attention-grabbing and engagement skills. He was approached to consider being an instructor for a Defensive Driving Course. The rest, as they say, is history.

What makes this approach so effective is that humor and education can go hand in hand. Our course material–initially created by the Improv Comedy Club–is a testament to our fun approach to teaching. It’s not by accident that we’re the only NYS-approved, humor-based course. We make the notorious "watching paint dry" boredom of defensive driving classes a thing of the past!
